To Tweet or not to Tweet

One of the good things about Twitter Is that I can relegate immediate thoughts to it rather than a full blog post. It also means I can blog on the go via my mobile. It also means that I can use those on the go thoughts to structure a post such as this one about the trip to Stratford-upon-Avon to see Hamlet. So, without further delay I wish to present TwitterExpanded...

yay - I'm going south and the rain's going south... wait... not yay!

Free Week

OK, I was going to go to Play Festival but, due to weather ruining the site (come on site, we had floods last year...) it's been cancelled. I had time booked off work and everything. This does mean though that I now have a week off work. I finish on 18th July, considering visiting my brother in Didcot that weekendand have the following week and weekend (including Monday to recover) free. Anybody fancy meeting up and doing something.

Holiday

OK, I am now officially on 11 days holiday. I celebrated the last day in work with two bastard cases during drop-in - w00t! I am, as previously mentioned, off work until 31st March, and what do I have lined up?

Well, today I have:

  • an appointment with the consultant
  • to try and arrange a haircut
  • to try and tidy my room
  • to finish off my second load of washing

Holiday (Updated)

OK, I booked off some time from work. something I am remarkably bad at actually doing. Due to work being shut for a period over Easter, I am looking at being workless from the evening of Wednesday 19th March to the morning of Monday 31st March. That's a nice long period of nothing at all planned.

If anyone wants to visit or would like me to visit them or has any other suggestions, let me know. It's that or see if I can complete a B5 marathon in the time (which I think Wendy'll veto).

Edit: My friend Bex is coming up for a few days at the end of the week. Yay!

Time off

So, seeing as I did so well at taking holiday last year that I had to carry a full complement of holiday and still lost some, my manager has ordered me to take at least half a week, probably a full week off before the end of February. A whole week... What am I going to do with a whole week? I need suggestions peoples. And offers. Quickly. So I can book the right time off. Ideally after 15th February (pay day), so I'm thinking 18-22 February, but if someone knows of something I can do other than that, shout out!
