At the end of December, when Elton John and David Furnish had a baby through surrogacy, the BBC News ran the story (I dunno, maybe there was nothing else going on that day...?) but decided they needed to “balance” this piece by inviting Stephen Green of Christian Voice into the studio to comment. It should be mentioned that Christian Voice is not the official spokesgroup of the Church of England or any other mainstream religious organisation.

Stonewall have decided to shortlist (not name) Julie Bindel Journalist of the Year 2008. Over the weekend I received two messages on Facebook from the Say No To Stonewall Syndrome group. The first informing me of this decision and pointing me to a lovely article by "Our" Julie - Gender benders, beware.
