Well, I earlier listed some stuff I wanted to do, and now have a couple of weeks booked off work to help with that. I have booked my tickets for EasterCon (British SciFi convention in Bradford) and was *this close* to booking hotels for MakerFaire in Newcastle, but I'm a wimp and want company (I may struggle to pay for this now anyway - I ended buying tickets to see Blur as you may have noticed in my twitter stream - one left...).

So, new year, new start, new holiday allowance.

Last year (and the year before) I had holiday entitlement left over. I'm just not good at taking holiday. I always want my holiday for something so I'm thinking about what those somethings can be.

Today is my last day before heading back to work. I'll have had eleven days off and done... errr... not a whole lot.

I semi-tidied my room, got my hair cut and went to the consultant. I went to Manchester and helped set up a CND Stall and shopped at the farmers' market. Had a look at Bar Plan B (but was too loud and noone else was coming because they wanted to go to The Manor - one of the most boring pubs in existence), went to a music festival at the lounge. Did some gardening stuff. Went back to Manchester with Mum. Tidied the house a bit.
