Yesterday Wendy and I went to see Wanted - Timur Bekmambetov's (Night Watch & Day Watch)latest film. A hollywood action film this time. And it's fun. James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie doing ridiculous stunts to a fairly standard plot. But it was damn fine fun.
The Orphanage is released on DVD next Monday here in the UK. If you haven't seen this yet, I would strongly recommend it except that... I already have!
Batman: The Dark Knight. Oh wow, that looks good. Can't wait to see it. Or Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Hancock also looks like it could be good fun - and it has Michael Bluth in it!
There's a few films I've missed at the cinema which I ought to get round to watching on DVD, Superbad (Micheal Cera goodness), Juno (more Michael Cera goodness), Stop Loss (Kimberley Pierce goodness with added Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ryan Phillippe goodnesses), Death Note (Manga goodness with far too limited a release - we don't all live in London you fuckers!!).
Anything I've missed?
Alex
